There are few things I enjoy more than a scorching cup of hot cocoa during the holidays. While I believe that all cocoa is good cocoa, homemade cocoa is a level above anything you can get anywhere else. Not only is it fresh off the stove, but there's plenty of room for customizations and special preferences. Each cup is the perfect cup and that couldn't ring more true with tmy special cocoa recipe which I'll be sharing down below.

What Next Winter Treats Hot Cocoa (Dispenser)

1. Heat a cup of room temperature milk over the stove on medium-low heat.

2. Stir in your cocoa powder and a dash of sugar to taste.

3. Once your milk is warm add in your chocolate shards and stir until they melt completely.

4. I like to add a dash of vanilla or peppermint extract to taste.

5. Serve immediately topped with your favorite toppings (like the whipped cream and peppermints from your Dahlia cocoa) and enjoy!

If you haven't heard the news I've returned to Paris to enjoy the season. They say there's no place like home for the holidays and I couldn't agree more. Luckily, with the help of my assistant, my apartments were ready in no time and as soon as we touched down, Bosco and I were able to start decorating. I hope you all stay tuned, I'll be dropping christmas decor ideas all season leading up until Christmas! In the mean time, we should probably finish getting ready.
